Matthew is a highly regarded music director, consultant, and DJ with over 15 years of experience in helping brands create compelling sound narratives designed to amplify brand voice and drive consumer engagement through the power of music.
Matthew’s career began in live music, curating events for brands such as Converse, Lynx, Ford and Xbox including artists like DJ Fresh, Hurts, Stereophonics and Rudimental. He also developed national DJ programmes for leading retailers All Saints, H&M, Topshop, and New Look.
He later refined his expertise at the award-winning agency Music Concierge, industry leader PlayNetwork and in partnerships with Apple Music, where he designed and implemented background music strategies for luxury hospitality and retail brands. His portfolio includes high-profile clients like Burberry, COMO Hotels and Resorts, Dishoom, D&D London, Harrods, Hilton Hotels, Jo Malone, KFC, Le Labo, O2, Rhubarb Hospitality, Studio City (Macau), Tom Ford, Tommy Hilfiger, Zizzi and The Wolseley among many others.
Matthew is also well-known on the London hospitality scene as a long-serving residence DJ over the years at some of the city’s most renowned venues, including Arts Club Mayfair, Bluebird Café, The Dorchester Hotel, Groucho Club, Quaglinos, the Savoy, and Somerset House.
